"The corporations sit there in their...
in their corporation buildings,
and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y
... and they make money."
So cool, except the 'make money' bit. I work for the public health system, there's no such thing as money. Anyway, I worked in the city today. I wore a white shirt, trousers, leather shoes and a tie. It's probably not long until they move our whole team to the CBD. I felt really 'corporation-y'. Sitting on the rail with all the other corporation sheep.
I don't like cubicles either.
I haven't worn a tie to work in years, I only wear tie's to interviews. What makes the city different? Maybe you need to wear a tie in the corporate world to be taken seriously. Perhaps it leads to advancement in your work place? This tie won't last long. I now dub-thee top drawer the tie draw.
Please let me stay in my old office, on the top floor, with ocean and island views, loads of space and privacy!
