When I was a little tike, staying at Nana and Grandpa's place, I'd almost always be treated with my favourite meal, roast chicken and vege's. The best part? Desert. If it wasn't a giant bowl of straight condensed milk, or a block of Cadbury chocolate, it would without a doubt be a massive bowl of Peters Vanilla ice-cream, smothered in Cottees Ice Magic.
WTF is Ice Magic? If you haven't had it, you are missing out. Let me tell you right now.
It's kind of like having a choc-bomb at the cinema. Your favourite ice-cream covered in a thin, hard, chocolate shell of goodness. Only YOU get to choose how much, how thick, etc.
Thirty years later, I'm still eating this stuff on my ice-cream, religiously. The only thing that has changed is the ice-cream, I've become quite fond of the Bulla stuff.
One day I'll be feeding my kids this stuff, they will experience it as I have, and it will be a special treat, just like it was once for me.
